RecommendedExcellent care for my 2 basset hounds. The staff and Dr Downes give excellent advise and care. My dogs love to come here. They are always warmly welcomed.
We love Dr Downes and all the staff! They are all amazing and make all three of my dogs feel very comfortable while in their care. One of my dogs had a very bad experience at another vet as a puppy, so we were recommended Dr Downes. I’m so happy we were because after a lot of patience, sweet talking and yummy liver treats my Charlie now sees him without a muzzle on because he trusts him and that is everything to me.

I just had my 7 yr. old Yorkie’s teeth cleaned and to my surprise and delight there were only a few extractions! The care and concern over my little doggie before, during, and after the procedure was such a welcome change. My only regret is that I didn’t come here sooner. Dr. Downes is the best!
Dr Downes is a caring and highly knowledgable Vet, especially in treating the SharPei breed, which needs complicated care to keep them at their optimum. His staff is helpful, caring and friendly. It is worth our traveling an hour to get there, to feel confident Chewy is getting the best care we can find for him... He loves his Vet!
Dr Down is really good with Maddie and happy that he is our Vet and keeping Maddie well!

This is the best veterinary place ever Hands Down, everything from the DR to the staff is been awesome, they have helped us give our Shar pei the best quality of life for our beautiful 11 year old girl who has been battling cancer for a couple years now and she is still alive because The Dr works with us on what is the best treatments for her and she's proven to have a strong willed spirit to keep going.
