I just ran a half marathon that this group hosted. I ended up in the ER with heat exhaustion. There were not nearly enough water stations, especially for how hot and humid the day was. There were no medical tents along the run. The medical and volunteers that were walking the trail had no water, no way to help. From mile 10-13.1 there was no water and no support. Once I finished the race, all of the recovery products - electrolytes, fruit, etc. were gone. The last mile of this race is on uneven grass - just asking for someon... read more

I received my “packet” today for the Cypress marathon on the 9th of November , which I PAID FOR - And all that was in the packet were 6 safety pins ! I tried calling the number but no one answers the call . I paid $20 for the T-shirt and another $20 for the packet to be mailed to me . Can someone tell me what’s happening

Unfortunately must say over the years the quality of events is getting worse. I recently ran - and won 1st overall - the Spring marathon. Photographer didn’t think that accomplishment was worth capturing at the finish line, and it’s very disappointing. Moreover, they’re doing everything possible to profit (increasing entry fees, cutting all possible costs). For example, each year the medals are getting smaller and lower quality - to the point where the 1st overall winning medal was literally printed on cheap label tape and s... read more
