I had All American Construction (who runs their business under at least two other names) replace our roof. Problem started after construction began, when the owner called to say that there was potential water damage under a flat roof extension, which was impossible to estimate the cost to fix without first removing the existing structure. I signed a waver to fix any damage, and was shocked to see an extra $5000 for extra work for what was replacing 2 rafters under an 8' x 12' flat roof.
