This review for excellent service and quality work is long overdue. Patrick and his team have been caring for our car for the past 8 years; I have always found him to be professional, informative, and helpful in assessing necessary repairs. And the repair work is top notch. My car is an outlier -- she's a 2008 Audi A4 wagon, a very old lady. After traveling to San Francisco for a show at a venue in the Mission district I returned to my truck late in the evening to find it would not start!Suspected fuel pump failure.I have a fitful night of non sleep in my vehicle and by 6am the next day I have AAA tow me to All American automotive which opens at 8.After speaking to the proprietor I realize that not only is service by appointment,But they specialize in servicing German cars.Nonetheless... read more
Everyone at All American was super helpful! They not only diagnosed the immediate issue with our car but helped us think through a variety of next steps on its overall maintenance and lifespan. Really happy with both the service and the guidance we received.
Simply put, Patrick is a crass, unprofessional, egotistical jerk. He's an embarrassment to the rest of the excellent team at this shop. Even worse! I (and many other customers ) have to endure him! Somehow he continues to get away with his poor performance. ( see other reviews) When I arrived, I observed Patrick bad talking a customer to another mechanic. Pat and Bill got my '07 Z4 running like a dream in one day after it had been sitting in another shop for almost two weeks. Not only did they get the work done in one day, Bill was nice enough, on a Friday afternoon no less, to walk me through the repair work and explain it to my mechanically clueless self. These guys love what they do and it shows. I won't be taking this car anywhere else for future work. Thanks again! UPDATE: 2026 and the shop is still going strong. Always a pleasure to get work done here.
