They called me multiple times for weeks to schedule an appointment and I wish I had just ignored them. I tried. Family Optometry called me to schedule an eye exam, and I agreed. They set my appointment for 10 AM, so I arrived at 9:50 AM—only to be told by the receptionist that they were surprised I was even there since the doctor wouldn’t arrive until 11 AM. I was annoyed but figured things happen. A few weeks later, they reached out to reschedule, and I decided to give them another chance. Had an appointment first thing on a Saturday morning..... so I arrived about 10 minutes before my scheduled time & they never opened. I left after waiting about 25 minutes in the freezing cold. They called about an hour later saying "you missed your appt." .... The first time I went I paid to get a prescription put on a pair of glasses & they changed the price a couple times, because she was "unsure" of the cost. Extremely unprofessional, will not return.

Front desk staff is clearly running a scam on medicaid patients and attempting to charge for services. From the moment i walked in i could tell the one HBIC was up to something. I had booked a routine eye exam. When i get there the first girl says, "I'm just gonna take a picture of your eyes". Thats it. Then i go to see the doctor and I tell him i'm there for contacts and we go through that process. I go to check out and the HBIC rifles through some eyeglass order forms with no name on it and a rando script written on there.... read more
