Thank you to the wonderful staff at Alive Hospice for the care and compassion for my mother and our family.
I am incredibly thankful for the tremendous care my family and I received from Alive. Truly each member of the team was warm, compassionate and worked hard to meet our unique needs. I also received grief support in groups and individual counseling. The grief counselors were excellent and clearly are extremely skilled in understanding what grief really feels like and how to help people find a way to continue living after great loss. The staff were so caring and supportive!!! My mother gained her heavenly wings on May 20 and spent her last days with Alive Hospice.. they made sure she was comfortable and made sure she was took care of with the utmost respect. They tended to our grieving family as if we were their family!!! I couldn’t have asked for better!!! And thank you for the card as well!!! To be in a place where you are surrounded by death, the smiles and the nurturing nature from the staff is unbeatable!!!
I was sorry to read about others’ experiences but I could not have been happier with his care. He was always clean and shaved and one time I walked in on an older employee…I think she was a nursing assistant/care partner brushing his hair and singing to him in a quiet, soothing way. There was only one thing which is so minor it is hardly worth mentioning….i bought lilies for my dad’s room because he loved the smell.
