Our stay was unfortunately a bit confusing and unsettling. As a Globalist member, I usually enjoy Hyatt properties and have had great experiences in the past. My husband and I were in town for a law school seminar and specifically chose this hotel because we were looking for a quiet place to study and relax. When we arrived for check-in, the valet staff assumed we were Uber drivers, even though there were clearly two of us in the car. It was an uncomfortable way to begin our stay. The positive points about this hotel is the view and the location. We have access to the beach. Unfortunately, the service and room quality simply did not justify the high price. Thin floorboards let in constant noise from the room above, making it impossible to rest—quite ironic for a self-proclaimed 'wellness resort.' Furthermore, the staff failed to provide a promised white noise machine, leaving us completely frustrated and without any resolution for the final four nights of our trip.

The staff was really exceptional. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely friendly and upbeat. The location is amazing and it feels luxurious and special. Thank you for a great stay!
