I had my F350 Ford truck worked on to replace my brakes. I was able to get my truck in and out in one day. Replaced the front calipers pads and rotary. They flushed my entire brake system and replaced with new fluids. They also provided a military discount which was unexpected but very helpful. They provided me a quote up front and I was very pleased with all aspects of their service. Thank you for helping and supporting our military veterans.
I had a frustrating and disappointing experience at this auto shop. I was charged for “repairs” that seemed unnecessary, but I reluctantly authorized them just to get my vehicle back without further hassle. The final bill was jaw dropping, inflated by an outrageous markup on parts. When my wife questioned the owner about a senior discount that was clearly advertised on their website, he was dismissive and unprofessional and tried to get out of honoring it. Had an alignment done at Alignment Center and Alaska Car & Truck, and they did an excellent job! Friendly staff, quick service, and my car drives perfectly now. Highly recommend them for quality auto work in Anchorage!
Fair pricing and service, although a coworker needed a repair done three times before realizing his upper arm was the problem and requiring a fourth alignment. Not sure how this was missed the first few times, but it's a cautionary tale.
I had a very poor experience here. The team was fast, but they bait-and-switched me. They determined that the heat was going out because of a coolant leak in 15 min. Charged me $200 for the diagnostic. They replaced the radiator and charged me $1500 for the job (all good). Then they put it all back together and determined the thermostat was what was wrong. They wanted to charge me an additional $500 in labor to go back in and change the thermostat when they should have checked the thermostat during the $200 diagnostic I paid... read more
