Had an alignment done at Alignment Center and Alaska Car & Truck, and they did an excellent job! Friendly staff, quick service, and my car drives perfectly now. Highly recommend them for quality auto work in Anchorage!
Fair pricing and service, although a coworker needed a repair done three times before realizing his upper arm was the problem and requiring a fourth alignment. Not sure how this was missed the first few times, but it's a cautionary tale.
I had a very poor experience here. The team was fast, but they bait-and-switched me. They determined that the heat was going out because of a coolant leak in 15 min. Charged me $200 for the diagnostic. They replaced the radiator and charged me $1500 for the job (all good). Then they put it all back together and determined the thermostat was what was wrong. They wanted to charge me an additional $500 in labor to go back in and change the thermostat when they should have checked the thermostat during the $200 diagnostic I paid... read more
The only place I’ve ever taken my vehicle where the mechanic himself calls you and explains in detail what’s going on. No service writer trying make a commission on anything. On top of that they also provide excellent service
These guys do outstanding work, however, their business practices are of the 'bait and switch' variety. In my case they committed to have my car done within a few hours of drop off, but then wouldn't commit to even having my car done that day at time of appointment. Too bad - been going there 25 years. Hate to see bad management practices do this to a great, local business.
