While the service and care at the location was great, the back-end administration and insurance due diligence was disappointing. Dr. Flammini and Dr. Nimota respectively were excellent in providing the service, and so were the trainers. The conclusion is that I was lied to and subject to a health insurance scam. I was encouraged to enroll by informing me that my insurance would be able to fully cover the 22 free sessions due to my hitting the deductible for 2022. I have been to the Aligned Evanston location numerous times for acupuncture and it is excellent. Monique Wheeler is a compassionate and effective acupuncturist. Her treatments are outstanding and she treats the root of the problems. I cannot say enough great things about her and how she helped me.
After dealing with plantar fasciitis pain and ineffective podiatrist-recommended treatment for 2 years I decided to give acupuncture at Aligned a try and I am so glad I did! I was initially a little skeptical but after seeing sustained results I would HIGHLY recommend seeing Eric for any aches/pains that just won’t go away with traditional treatment options
