My recent visit with Dr. Prestegaar was disappointing and left me feeling unheard. When I expressed that the medication she prescribed was not helping me feel better, her response made me feel as though she was frustrated with me rather than concerned about my health. She helped me in a major way with migraine and muscle contraction headaches. I think very highly of her.
Terrible. Rude she was awful to my wife. Talked over my wife and me. Very condescending and arrogant. Asked questions and didn't allow me or my wife to answer her before speaking over me. Mocked my wifes issues and was very callous and cruel. Had me her in tears by the end of the appt. Save yourself time and go elsewhere and don't end up feeling worse and causing more harm like we did. Donnot recommend.
Horrible. Condescending and didn't listen. Waste of time, she enjoyed belittling me in front of her student. I was mortified. And her After Visit Summary didn't reflect the appointment or what was discussed. She has refused to prescribe antidepressant and antinausea meds. She is an extremely poor provider.
She twisted around all I was asked and what we discussed. She was not very friendly at all and very cold and callus. Mocking my issues and problems. Had me in tears by time visit was 10min in with her condescending attitude and demeaning behavior. I reviewed my notes from my visit and she completely twisted around everything asked to me or that I said. Dr. Does not return calls. Dr. Does not provide and follow through on referrals as needed. Dr. Has no resources for specialty referrals. Dr. Went off an erroneous radiology report to advise. But did not get film. Did not ask for another test. Patient did not have a 6mm aneurysm. Much grief over an erroneously situation that went awry.
I have been going to Dr. Prestegaard in Ann Arbor for many years. In the beginning my migraines were debilitating and often accompanied by vertigo. The treatment provided by Dr. Prestegaard has reduced my severe migraines/vertigo to so few that I honestly cannot remember the last time I had to end an activity because of a headache. I am very thankful for her kind attention to my concerns and intelligent response to my needs.
Dr. Prestegaard is a wonderful doctor. Thank you, thank you for all your excellent help.
Dr. Prestegaard has really helped me over the years and I am truly thankful. Her nurses have been awesome too!!
