Our daughter was feeling very depressed and didn't know how to deal with the high school stress and other teen issues. I am not impressed with most counselors I have met (fluffy approach, not much substance, don't trust their judgement). However, Alicia had a very systematic approach to helping her, gained trust immediately, gave my daughter valuable exercises that changed perspective and improved coping skills and was very, very helpful. Did not need her help for a long time--which was good.
My daughter has been seeing Alicia for about the past year, and her improvement over that time is remarkable. We highly recommend her.
