A godsend. The one physician in the country that was able to help our daughter. His vast experience over decades and ability to think outside conventional algorithms of care was amazing.
I was 17 with kyphosis. Dr Millis put 2 Harrington rods in my back. He put the rods too high and not low enough. Surgery ended up being 9 hours with 3 blood transfusions. Took months to recover. I am looking for another surgeon to remove hardware from the top, for the 2nd time. I have had nothing but pain since surgery (25 years). Rods are deteriorating and coming apart. Next surgery is because a hook came undone and is pushing out of my back. I can’t lay on my back or sit on a couch. Bone has grown around and it is not goin... read more
Dr. Heyworth is amazing. We travelled from Florida to Boston for our son to be cared for specifically by him. He is very knowledgeable and was proactive with treating the condition. He seemed truly concerned with our son's case and invested in getting him back up and active again. Both Dr. Heyworth and his staff always treated us kindly and with respect. I am so happy we made the trip to see him and that our son was able to have his surgery performed by him and the wonderful staff at Boston Children's. Thank you all so much ... read more
I’ve taken two of my three daughters to see Dr. Damore and will be scheduling an appointment for my youngest. Dr. Damore is incredibly knowledgeable. She takes time to understand the patient’s medical history and concerns. One of the kindest and most caring physician I have ever met. Highly recommend her.
We are immensely grateful for the outstanding care provided by Dr. Pierog during our child's recent endoscopy. Their expertise in pediatric GI issues, coupled with a warm and reassuring demeanor, immediately put us at ease. The entire experience was marked by professionalism, clear communication, and genuine concern for our child's well-being. Dr. Pierog's commitment to pediatric gastroenterology is truly commendable.
Caused damage to my daughter during surgery. Her leg is worst than before surgery. Absolutely the worst doctor. Do not put your child in his hands.
Dr Yen. was my son’s surgeon. He is an excellent doctor who cares for his patient and gives the best treatment options.
Don’t bother trying to set up appt. What a nightmare. Staff is so disorganized!
He was inexplicably eager to do an invasive exploratory procedure that has been shown to cause potentially irreparable damage to intestinal flora - which was the problem in the first place - and would neither consider nor address the possibility of moving forward without it, despite the fact that according to other medical professionals it was not medically indicated based on symptoms. He refused to consider the less invasive testing we requested which WAS consistent with symptoms. He appears to be unaware of the latest diag... read more
