Waited too long to be seen , Dirty Facility and super fast Visit not clear understanding of my overall evaluation Dr. Alice just disappeared Without proper explanation. I thought she would come back to explain but she never did. Hoping next time it’s better
On August 5 I had my initial consult at the Los Alamitos office for possible surgery. After a few tests and some discussion I was scheduled for surgery on Sept 3, about a month away. The doctor prescribed oral and topical antibiotics for post surgery care. The front desk gave me an appointment reminder card. I picked-up my prescriptions the same day as my initial consult, August 5. I've never had a problem getting an appointment. The doctor is thorough and explains things clearly and shows compassion for my condition and symptoms. I'm usually seen in a timely manner and everyone is friendly.
Overall, my experience at this doctor's office was beyond SHAMEFUL and left me feeling extremely frustrated and disrespected. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. It's clear that this business (especially the front desk guy, Mike) has no interest in prioritizing the needs and concerns of its patients, and I would strongly caution others against seeking care from this provider. Chaotic, disorganized. Went in for one thing. Ended up being upsold on 5 different things. Was told I needed surgery ASAP. I left feeling overwhelmed at everything thrown at me saying I needed to think about it. I've since been to another ophthalmologist who gave me a second opinion and was pretty much shocked at everything I shared with her. I don't need surgery. Thank goodness I got another opinion.
