Greetings— This is an updated review based on the resolution provided by the practice for my initial grievance—I was refunded my out-of-pocket cost for the visit. (Review Update Below) First off, I'm new to SLO, and was calling around for a routine exam for both glasses and contacts--I was earnestly referred to Dr. Patel by an Ophthalmologist office I'd called which stated they didn't do them . . . and so . . . I called Patels office only to find out my appoint with her would be a 3 week wait; I made the appointment . . . but, I called back to see why the wait would be so long and their response was something along the lines of . . . I used to be a a patient here for years, but lately it’s been very difficult to get an appointment: either they are too busy to talk to me in the office or can’t make an appointment on the phone. But today was strange in that I walked in just after 6pm on Saturday, 7/19 and no other patients were around. I asked for an appointment and they looked at me like I was an alien. Very Professional ! They had lots of customers but she took the time to go over everything and did not rush to get me out
I was extremely pleased with my care at Ali & Patel. I was in a jam and they bent over backwards to help out. The entire office is upbeat and competent. My optometrist was Bradley Kovach O.D. He is very competent, communicates extremely well and is patient oriented. Equipment is state of the art. Happy they are within Costco.
