When a colonoscopy discovered a polyp in a part of the colon too difficult for the Gastroenterologist to reach, I was scheduled for a 2nd colonoscopy by the most experienced and skilled doctor in the large department -- Dr. Ali Fazel. He then ordered follow-ups on a schedule to assure safety. Each time, Dr. Fazel explained the process and asked if any questions. Those meetings were brief but helpful.
Waited almost an hour and the doctor spent less than 7 minutes with me to discuss my ongoing treatment. Didn’t perform any medical tests and gave me no advice then got up and left. Don’t recommend!
This doctor the most cocky dr you can ever see. Didn’t help, didn’t care and left me in the office to find out that he left by one of his nurses.
Recently I had two separate Endoscopy procedures performed by Dr. Fazel. 1) removal of stones from my Common Bile Duct and 2) removal of a large gastric polyp from my stomach. Dr. Fazel's expertise is removing large polyps from the stomach that cannot be removed by routine EGD, thus preventing the need for surgical intervention.
