Dr Afshar is a talented and approachable surgeon with a compassionate bedside manner.
I saw two urologists before I found Dr Afshar and immediately felt heard. The other urologists wanted to jump straight to TURP but I wasn't willing to settle for the typical side effects of that procedure. I had an additional complication where a Urolift clip had slipped and punctured my bladder. Dr Afshar recommended aquablasion instead of TURP to help retain sexual function and the bad Urolift clip could be removed from the bladder at the same time. I couldn't be happier with the results! Highly recommend.
