Lovely afternoon strolling on several different walking trails -- one that ran parallel to the Potomac River and one that took us deeper into the woods. A special treat was stumbling upon a public dock right on the water. We stopped there to rest, talk and contemplate the beauty. Will revisit soon.
Nice facility. Cabins and grounds were well maintained. Enjoyed the venue despite a power outage due to a fallen tree.
My family and I had a great time riding our bikes to and from the park and having a picnic !
