The garage they run is GARBAGE. Damaged my car. Giant footprint on my passenger seat. Terrible management and customer service. SHAME ON YOU for running any business this way.
They own a valet garage, and damaged my car. Said they would pay me back and did not follow through. The management and John Sarmiento has been ignoring me ever since!
Updating review: The building is being sued by a former tenant for black mold. The building is in poor condition even though it's a "luxury" building. Algin Management is unbelievably irresponsible and indifferent. We dealt with constant leaks from the ceiling, plumbing issues, old broken appliances, bad odors from the vents, amongst other problems. Other tenants also had these issues. We couldn't take it anymore and moved out.
I am very impressed with Algin Management. Pola is an incredible agent. Fantastic customer service and incredibly patient and helpful. It was my first time apartment searching in New York, and I toured 10 different buildings with different management companies. Algin was the best company by far, and Pola was the best agent. I would highly recommend both Algin and Pola to anyone apartment searching in NYC! 10/10!
This is my honest review in regard to my dealings with Algin Management over the years. I live in their building at 5611 94th Street, for 40 years. They have been for the most part decent landlords. I have dealt with Mrs. Maria Shah over the years. She has always been courteous and helpful. Yes I have had repairs made that haven’t been great because the worker is lazy and just does a mediocre job.
