I found the leasing and corporate teams prompt (responding within 2-4 hours), kind, and accommodating as I navigated paperwork, deposit, pets, and moving at both the hectic start of my lease and ending my lease. I lived in Hilary Gardens (300 Mercer) for 6 years and loved it.
My showing was CANCELLED on me and I had no idea. As a courtesy I called them to let them know I was running a few minutes late due to traffic but that I was still coming. That’s when I was informed they cancelled the showing last night. He said he emailed me but I have nothing in my junk mail or inbox. The garage they run is GARBAGE. Damaged my car. Giant footprint on my passenger seat. Terrible management and customer service. SHAME ON YOU for running any business this way.
They own a valet garage, and damaged my car. Said they would pay me back and did not follow through. The management and John Sarmiento has been ignoring me ever since!
Updating review: The building is being sued by a former tenant for black mold. The building is in poor condition even though it's a "luxury" building. Algin Management is unbelievably irresponsible and indifferent. We dealt with constant leaks from the ceiling, plumbing issues, old broken appliances, bad odors from the vents, amongst other problems. Other tenants also had these issues. We couldn't take it anymore and moved out.
