Very good. Half a chicken with fries, NO rice is my usual order. Key is you HAVE to take it out because when it steams in the styrofoam, it makes it taste THAT much better. The rice is good, but throw a little salt on the fries, and the fries win hands down. The chicken can be a little salty for some, But is perfect for me since I can eat what I want while I am young. Different perspective. I love the food from Algarve. The fries are Portuguese fries (thin and soggy) not like fast food, so don't order them if you aren't into that. Great seasoned meats, and I love their paella and even the plain rice with peas and carrots. Sangria is also tasty, but the restaurant is always crowded, so it is best for take out. Very reasonable pricing.
OK Algarve Barbecue is a Portuguese restaurant and take-out place. They make very good meats but I would not really recommend any of their other dishes. I don't care for the rice or the french fries. But if you are looking for good Portuguese meat, go to Algarve.
