I am a retired professional. I also have diabetes. When my endocrinologist retired, I went to see Dr. Rothman, who was my doctor. I asked him for a referral to another endocrinologist. He said that he didn't know any endocrinologists. He has been in practice for well over 45 years. I then asked him if he would call a doctor for the name of someone. We were both sitting down. I have been a patient for over twenty years. Dr. Rothman is outstanding. His experience and knowledge are deep. His concern for his patients is genuine in this time of decreased attention due to commoditization of medicine.
