For those of you that are wondering why you can't get in with Dr. Cook is because he is to cheap to hire good people. He doesn't appreciate his staff. I've tried calling so many times and nobody ever answers my calls and when I finally did get through I was placed on hold for long periods of time. I was referred by a good friend and they won't go back to him either because he couldn't through to them as well and that was after having surgery. Dr. Cook may be the best surgeon in the world however I never had the opportunity to find out due to his staff is the worst staff in the world. I would NEVER use this practice because of the staff. Twice I tried to make appointments and all you ever receive is an automated message stating they will return your call in 3-5 business days. Both times I never received a call back. I’ve had the opportunity to be treated by Dr. Cook twice for shoulder injuries. He is a fantastic physician who relates to the patient and shares clearly the options for treatment. While I hope I never need to see him again he would be the first physician I would go to for a shoulder injury.
This is a review for Dr. Cook. One year ago, I fell and broke my patella in 1/2. I live in TV, I called 911, they took me to Leesburg hospital where there was no on call surgeon. Dr Cook refused to let me be treated at TV hospital and I was told it was because it was a Friday and they didn’t want to deal with me but he most likely didn’t know how to do the surgery, so I guess I’m lucky I didn’t get him.
