Went there with my daughter, they were very professional. She tried on many great dresses but found one that looked like it was made for her!!! The price was amazing for such a lovely gown. I even found a few mother of the bride dresses I like. We went to try on dresses 3 times, and I'm glad we did as the dress she fell in love with was a new dress, but the store manager had set it aside for her the moment it came in, and she was correct in doing so. I can't say enough about this store.

Very dissapointed with this shop. I went in January 2011 to look at mostly bridesmaid dresses. I did find 1 bridal dress that I liked and they wrote it down, but did not write down the sizes of the bridesmaid's dresses for my sister and my niece. We both live an hour away from Lincoln so it was a huge inconvenience when I call to have their dresses ordered and they did not write down the sizes. I went into this shoppe with my soon to be sister in law and was extremely pleased. even when we weren't completely happy with their color selections, the woman helping us was more than accomidating and even gave us some ideas as to how we could slightly alter the brides maids dresses to suit the colors we were going for. they were extremely helpfull and very friendly.

We went to every bridal shop in Omaha and they just didn't get it. From over priced gowns to having people that had no idea (even when we brought pictures) what type of gowns to provide for trying on. So we drove to Lincoln and went to J Marie's. Not only were their gowns varied in styles and colors, but the prices were very reasonable. They definately understand brides! variety BUT HIDDEN COSTS Never will I return! They put drop ins for state tourney over scheduling our fittings for 2 dresses,then they hit us up with hidden rush fees we were never told about. We were never given any estimated alteration amounts. WHEN WE CALLED TO GET AN AMOUNT DUE TO PICK UP THE DRESSES, WE WERE TOLD ONE AMOUNT, WE WENT TO PICK UP THE DRESSES THE NEXT MORNING AND HAD TO PAY A DIFFERENT HIGHER AMOUNT THAN TOLD THE MORNING BEFORE. We ended up paying over $150 extra.....please shop elsewhere!

I looked so good in my dress from J'Maries, I got engaged at my formal! Thanks J'Maries! A woman named Dawn helped me, and she made my entire experience at J''Maries the best that I could have. I spent months looking for the right dress, and with Dawn's help, I found the perfect dress not only financially, but it fit my body style perfectly. I never could have done that without Dawn's help. Stay away from this store! They did a horrible job on my alterations. For my final fitting they had not yet pressed it. I picked it up the morning of my wedding and went to the church and put it on and found it was extremely big around the bust - my mom had to take it in approximately 2 inches. I assume it got stretched out from being pressed, but I am extremely disappointed in this store - for being in business so long, one would assume they would know that it could get stretched out with pressing.Also, I found the employee... read more
