I have bought two cars from here other than typical breaks oil changes type stuff no issues and they are wonderful to the customers love this place
I bought a vehicle from here. It was repossessed due to a loss of my employeement. After I called and tried to be reasonable, they would not let me get my PERSONAL belongings from the vehicle. He said when I bring $500 I can come and get my personal belongings including some of my clothes, my 2 year old daughter's car seat, my 5 month old's car seat, and other things, he said I don't care you aren't getting anything back. Alford Motors is TERRIBLE. I have never done business with them, but I've been receiving phone calls for about 3 months now looking for a specific person. After repeatedly telling them I am NOT this person, I'm still being called. Last night I received a phone call from one of their employees telling me personal information about the lady they're looking for and proceeded to accuse me and cuss me out. HARRASSING PHONE CALLS: I have NEVER done business with Alford Motors, and I never will. I have been receiving calls from them for about 3 months now and I have told them REPEATEDLY that I am NOT who they're looking for, and still keep receiving calls. Also, I've received phone calls from their employees on personal cell phones cussing me out and telling me personal information about who they're looking for (how much money they owe, ect.) They've definitely proved that the way they do business is absolutely TERRIBLE.
HORRIBLE STAY AWAY!!!!!!! Can t stress nuff how horrible this place is. I bought a car that the engine went out after a month cost 3000 to replace and now I m having issues with the tie rod and right front tire. I ve never had such a piedce of crap car in my life. I had 2 replace the engine on top of paying the car note. Then they try to act funny when you ask for maintence telling you no over and over till u threaten to involve the law. My advice never go here ever it will bleed u dry just keeping the car running.
The cars aren't the greatest, but Maggie is an amazing person and will help you out. You get a better car for a better down payment. If it is 5400/500 down its obviously not gonna be great. But you get what you pay for and have the chance to take it for a test drive and to a mechanic so you know what to ask them to fix.
Had good luck with the one on Carthege.Very helpful,understanding.A bit overpriced but it is a buy here pay here so...I would recommend them and go back myself.
I have purchased a total of 4 cars over the last 20 years from Mel at Alford Motors. Each car has turned out to be clean, reliable and road worthy. They have always treated me with with dignity and respect. Mel has always been friendly and extremely helpful. I have recommended a few friends to Alford and they too have been treated well. Mel is a great guy and I would not hesitate to purchase a vehicle from him in the future
hello please stay away from alford motors, i have a friend that got over charged for a lemon, he ghad the car for 3 hours and the crap broke at the gas station. STAY AWAY!!!!
