Scheduled an oil change appointment for 8 AM. Sat there and waited until 11:30 to get my truck back. What is the point of the appointment if I have to sit there and wait for 3 and a half hours? When I finally was told it was ready, I inspected my vehicle to find oil smudges all along side the driver’s side hood and door. I understand techs get dirty, but at least wipe it off before pulling it around. We made an 8:00 AM appointment for a routine oil change, but by 10:00 AM the vehicle still hadn’t been started. We were told they had gotten swamped, which we understand can happen, but the purpose of making an appointment is to avoid a significant wait. If they were that backed up, it would have been helpful to know when we arrived so we could decide whether to wait or come back at another time. Two hours without the vehicle even being started was disappointing for a scheduled appointment.
Their sales process was fine. Their service department is the slowest and least communicative service department I’ve ever dealt with. They do not give timely updates about anything and rarely answer the phone. As far as I can tell, the work they do is fine, but it would be nice if the relatively new car we bought a few months ago wasn’t in the shop for more time than it hasn’t because they move so slowly.
