I am a 52 year old female who has an extensive past medial history I was seen by three top surgeons in NY Dr. Pomp was the only Surgeon who not only listened to whatI had to say, in addition to knowing everything in my medical history. Dr Pomp is compassionate looking at me as an individual. He is patient and easy to talk to. He provided all scenarios so I was able to make an informed decision regarding my surgery. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to choose him as my surgeon.
An A++ referral, top-tier practioner & practice infrastructure. This is the way a major research & teaching hospital practice area should function. Dr. Pomp's department practices medicine. I have dealt with at least one other major NYC hospital department which is a well-oiled money mill where careful medicine not the priority, it's an afterthought. A startling difference.
Dr. Pomp and the entire are Wonderful. Caring and discuss your entire procedure before. Great Bedside manner and would recommend to anyone. There is a reason Dr. Pomp is the Chief of Bariatric Surgery at one of the best hospitals in the world
Dr. Pomp is a great surgeon. Great bedside manner, thoroughly explains everything and patiently answers any questions. I went to him for surgery for GERD, and again two years later for another unrelated issue. He recommended me to a gastroenterologist and even went so far as to call ahead and ask his office to please contact me, as he was difficult to get appt with. He also has a great sense of humor!
He is the Best Doctor I’m so so happy I found Dr Pomp and his nurse Shazia I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to have weight loss surgery. The Best thank you Dr Pomp and Shazia JoanneF
