Mediocre food at best. Over priced. Bland. This place has gone downhill in the years. Drove 30+ minutes to be treated rudely by hostess. Waitress inattentive. Never going back.
Food was always good at Alex’s Place however the reception not so good! Got there at noon on Sunday, party of 5, when they first opened, was asked if we “called ahead”, reservation? We did not have reservations, didn’t think we needed them at lunch time and if we had to wait, we would have waited. RecommendedHad a wonderful dinner last night with excellent service. Our server Kristen was amazing with a huge smile and bubbly personality! The food is always delicious. Best ribs by far!
My boyfriend and I ordered dinner from Alex’s tonight. I’ve never had the food from here so I wasn’t expecting anything. I ordered a strip steak medium rare, which is my usual. I ate the mashed potatoes first and they weren’t very good. Cold and had clumped together. It was just a bunched up ball pretty much. awesome food This place is a little pricey but is worth every penny. I would go back ther anytime. The fish frys on Fridays are awesome, standing room only though.
food was very good but very expensive. paid double the price we usually pay.
went today and was so disappointed. usually the food is good - the French onion soup was horrible. all the food was Luke warm or cold - the only good thing was the server!
