We've been going to this restaurant for over 20 years. We drive all the way from Auburn Washington. If we are in town, we eat here. If we are just passing through town, we eat here. Excellent Greek food with plenty of flavor. Many great selections. Love the fresh bread at the beginning of the meal. It reminds me of my grandmothers home prepared bread. We've moved to the East side of the state now and still go to this restaurant!!
Excellent Lunch Spot Alexis is a standby for my workgroup when we want excellent food, great service and a place we can get in and out of on a lunch hour. The gyros are fabulous and the servers are friendly and attentive.
A Portland Classic This is the place to get your Greek food fix. I love to order the Alexis platter and get an assortment of all the tastes. The octopus is amazing and tender. There is no better humus in town. Get creative and over order. It is always good the next day.
Big party and they did great! We had a big party at Alexis and the food was so good and the wait staff was excellent! The belly dancer was awesome and the flaming cheese was to die for!
Fun atmosphere and great food We have been going to Alexis for years and I don't think I have ever had a bad meal. We usually eat family style - order a bunch of food and just share. The service is great and the entertainment on the weekends with the belly dancers is very fun.
it is one of the best This is a high end restaurant in portland, but it is one of the best when it comes to a variety of food. It is an evening in its self. Come to celebrate an ocassion or just to have a quiet dinner with your special one.
