As a veteran of the military and law enforcement I enjoy a physically active lifestyle as I enjoy working out, playing pickleball, and 5k walk/run! I saw Dr Castro as I had re injured my knee and was in a lot of pain! Dr Castro took X-rays and gave me conservative means to strengthen my leg and avoid invasive procedures down the line! Disappointing experience with Dr. DeCastro at MUSC during a critical time for my mother. He was non responsive to our pleas for medication modification for 6 days while she needlessly suffered. Staff said they weren’t sure why he wasn’t responding, and offered his next appointment…6 months in the future.
