Came after doing proper research and having a check in ready to negotiate a fair price. What I found was that Alexandria VW doesn't even offer their OWN ADVERTISED PRICING. They tried to mark up $3000 saying that the computer told them they had to, when we said we would not qualify for the college graduate or military benefits. This is only $1000 in rebates, where is the other $2000 coming from? Also that is not how rebates work, they can only deduct in pricing, not add if you don't qualify. We had a great experience with Sami! He was knowledgeable, friendly and showed genuine excitement for us throughout the whole process. We didn't feel like we were just a sale and the whole process was easy and enjoyable.
Was told to go away by their sales manager, came in at 3:45 on a Sunday ready to buy a car. Went to Lindsay VW same day and bought a car.
DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE! This place has the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life! Drove 2 hours to come buy a car and got there 20 min before they closed and they told me they were all going home that I would have to come back tomorrow! Walked in at 3:45 today with a car picked out ready to buy with cash in hand. Salesman was kind, but sales manager was very rude, and told us to come back tomorrow morning if I wanted the car. Drove to Lindsay Dulles VW, where I purchased a similar car with excellent service, an extremely friendly team, and they didn't mind at all that I was purchasing a car at the end of the day.
