Was sent to Albany Med Neurosurgery by my oncologist and radiologist following the recent CT scan (severe bilateral internal jugular stenosis). First, they never called me about my referral as I was told they would. Waited for a month before contacting them to schedule the appointment. Finally saw them yesterday and what an awful experience it was! To be fair I do not have anything negative or positive to say about the doctor herself (dr. Wonderful person and terrific surgeon. Highly recommend.
Dr. Paul performed surgery on my daughter to remove a cancerous brain tumor that had been there (to our surprise) for almost 20 years. She was very compassionate and detailed in providing us with information about the surgery, the risks and possible outcome. The surgery was a success. Dr. Paul is such a wonderful person. She truly cares about the patient and the support group. Thank you Dr. Paul.
I've had better times, but all in all, I met some interesting characters. ultimately, I wouldn't do it again. No hard feelings though. Oh, I almost forgot. The procedure gave me a stroke
