Overall, this was a really positive experience. The doctor was candid, clear, and took their time explaining everything in a way that made me feel comfortable and informed. I never felt rushed, and I really appreciated how thoroughly they answered my questions. It made a big difference and helped me better understand what was going on with my eyes. Very much pleased on the staffing, wait time and Dr. May taking the time to explain what i was going thru when it came to pain and what i was born with. She listened to my questions while answering every single one. She definitely engaged with me on an intellectual level allowing me to understand things thoroughly. Dr. May is what i ask for in a doctor, so its a pleasure to travel 1.5 hours to her office.
I had cataract surgery in both eyes, and Dr. May along with her team made the whole process smooth, comfortable, and efficient. She takes the time to answer questions and remembers everything you say to her. Dr. May is exceptionally intelligent, hardworking, thorough, and winsome. For the most part, with all my visits to her office and at the surgery center itself, there was little to no waiting time. You're in good hands with Dr. May.
I was sent to Dr. May after having a virus affecting my eye. Dr. May was thorough in her examination and recommendations. She explained options to me and made sure that every concern I had was answered. She took as much time with me as I needed, I was never rushed. After two follow up appointments I was fully recovered. Dr. May is exceptional in her field and I would highly recommend her to anyone.
