Returning to my homeland would have been walking into certain danger for me. I was nothing less than terrified to do so. She helped me understand that everyone has the right to asylum in this case no matter where they are from. This kind lady has kept me safe.
Ms. Lozano worked so hard to help me. She didn’t look at me with that condescending look I received elsewhere as if I had no business being here. She even spoke to me in my own language.
I knew the advantages of having a work permit but I did not know how to get one. I went to Alexandra Lozano, the person who did. This was such a smart thing for me to do. I can no longer be taken advantage of at work or blackmailed with threats to report me.
After I received a cold “no” from another attorney, I can’t even tell you how much her warmth and understanding of my situation meant to me.
