I love Dr. Braunstein and her entire team! I had an upper bleph done in her office. Absolutely painless from the day of the surgery to full recovery. She and Scott were so thorough with pre and post surgery information that they relieve you of any nervousness and fear. I highly recommend Dr. Braunstein for any and all of your ocular plastic surgery needs. Do not hesitate!
I had a very troubling experience with Dr. Alexandra Braunstein. During my eye surgery, errors were made that caused a painful corneal abrasion. Sutures were left in my eye even after her assistant had supposedly removed them. I was in significant pain and had to seek care from another oculoplastic surgeon for three months to manage the complications. Two years ago, Dr. Braunstein performed my upper eyelid surgery. She was warm, knowledgeable, talented, calming and she did a fantastic job (I opted for the hospital procedure versus in-office). I still marvel at how beautiful of a job she did. The difference is amazing. I wish I would have known that post surgery you have to sleep sitting up as I would have rented a medical chair (I was told that I could sleep on my back so I practiced that, as I was a stomach sleeper).
