I'm October 2023, I suffered a displaced fracture of the humerus in my shoulder. This happened while my Scan Medicare Advantage plan was contracted with Scripps. On January 1, 2024, my plan switched to UCSD and I was assured that my orthopedic care would continue. Five years ago I was the survivor of a hit-and-run on Christmas Eve when I was crossing the street. I was taken to UCSD Trauma Center where I had the fortune of having Dr. Alexandra Schwartz as head of my surgical team. She took care of dislocated joints & broken bones, & I'm enormously grateful. Bad Experience. My Daughter was hit by a car and suffered a broken leg. She had to wait 2 weeks for a MRI and after the results 3 days to be prescribed appropriate treatment. Inexperienced students did the stitches and the results were obviously sub par. Borderline Malpractice. Stay away!!!
Dr. Schwartz and her team were great with my mom. My mom fell and broke her humerus and was being seen by another specialist for 3 months with no improvement. She was referred to Dr. Schwartz and immediately was taken care of. It has been one month since she had surgery and is healing well, thanks to Dr. Schwartz. Dr. Schwartz was very carrying and attentive to my mom and was very helpful when I was facetiming during the appointments. Thank you Dr. Schwartz for EVERYTHING.
