I received a bill from the Doctor's office before I even had my appointment. I have medical insurance so called to try to understand what was going on. I called and waited 10 minutes only to find that a call center answered the phone. The website said the office was open until 7 p.m. My first of 2 calls was made at 3:30 p.m. If you want to speak to the Doctor's office staff the call center sends a note to them to tell them to call you. I seriously can’t say enough good things about Dr. Shushan. He is an excellent doctor and surgeon. He saw my daughter for an injured hand. He was very thorough and informative with the initial visit and was excellent during the surgery process.
Dr. Shushan has diagnosed and performed 2 surgeries on my hands, specifically my left middle finger (tumor) and my right thumb (cyst). He is a very good surgeon and makes me feel at ease. I have had several hand issues over the past several years and I am so thankful I found Dr. Shushan to oversee my medical care for the most important part of my body...my hands.

My son is having his surgery right now at a facility near AAMC with doctor Shushan as the surgeon, and dr Orlov as an anesthesiologist. So far it’s been the best surgery experience we’ve had. They do it very humanely. I was worried that I would have to start begging and convincing them to do and allow certain things in order to reduce my son’s anxiety, like I had to do when his brother had his surgeries last spring.
