Dr Raines operated on my wife several years ago. It was emergency surgery for bowel obstruction. There was lots of scar tissue and it would have been easier for him to remove bowel and do a colostomy. But he took the extra time and effort and completed very difficult surgery on my wife. She recovered completely and she credit him with saving her life. She was very seriously. He was kind and compassionate and competent. I gave him 5 stars because there was not a choice of 6. Dr Raines put my husbands port in but closed area completely. He didn’t leave drainage area and it got infected. Also a bad thing is he never seen my husband for after care at all, even a couple weeks after to make sure all was well. Don’t get the port if he closes the area completely!!! I would recommend going to someone else.
