Incredibly arrogant and dismissive. After two consultation visits with this provider, I decided to get another opinion , and I am so glad that I did.

Four yrs ago, my 88yo mother fell heavily on her forehead and we rushed her to N Central Bapt ER. Tests showed huge hematoma (injury with huge blood clot) on her brain. Dr. P was called in early evening the day before 7/4. He examined her scans & labs and her several times that night as Mom’s huge brain injury & swelling was dangerous. He expected to operate 7am the next day but late that night after I told him that Mom had just started speaking gibberish he took her into surgery immediately to remove her huge blood clot, dr... read more

Terrible medical practice. Long wait time to see the doctor over 45 minutes sitting in the exam room, no one popped their head to say doctor is running late or anything. Staff seems indifferent on that first visit and subsequent phone calls. Doctor was pleasant and professional however I was told I’d have back surgery in a few weeks. My visit date was January and wasn’t scheduled for surgery till the end of March. Way to long to wait for pain relief. I made another appointment with an orthopedic back surgeon, yet I requested... read more

This doctor is not compassionate. My daughter is having seizures, and he is more worried about moving on to the next patient. He is rude, and impatient. He is a hot head, he would rather pass us off to the director than answer important questions

Dr. "P" performed neurosurgery on my son the summer of 2015. By all accounts it was a tremendous success! He is very good at what he does, shows compassion, and does not overlook the need to thoroughly explain things to the patient, and caregiver. Thank you!

Hello, my name is Julie Nichols. I'm 45-years-old, and I just had Deep Brain Stimulation Surgery for Parkinson's Disease. Dr. Papanasatassiou was the miracle my family prayed for, a compassionate and brilliant neurosurgeon. Dr. Papa was very good about individualizing the surgery and paying close attention to details. Before the surgery, I was having trouble caring for my own needs if medication wasn't optimal. Dr. Papa gave me my life back by God intervening through him. I'm so grateful.
