Needed to review blood results, but they canceled my virtual appointment literally minutes before the call stating insurance can no longer compensate them for "virtual" visits. They couldn't even call me for the results I paid for which leaves me in the lurch healthcare wise. If I canceled like this at the last minute I would have been billed.
Dr Kopp runs terribly late but he is a very knowledgeable person. He THOROUGHLY reviews all of your test results and medical history with you and happily answers ALL of your questions. Having a medical background myself, coupled with some bad experiences with other doctors, I am very picky about my doctors. I give Dr Kopp a resounding thumbs up!
Saw him several times. Always late. Absolutely no empathy. Limited information in some areas. Thorough but no warmth. I left for someone else who I hope I can relate to.
Saw him one time out of over 5 appointments made. Will push you off to a nurse practitioner at the last minute. This is all business to him, all about billing the insurance and getting as many patients as possible and pushing them off to the NPs. The one time I met with him, I had to wait over an hour beyond the appointment time plus he was rude and insulting.
Dr. Kopp is a nice guy but lack of knowledge. Every time when I visited him for my health issue, he simply read with me together the information on the large computer screen in his office. He was trying to be helpful, but ended with no effective solution. In one case, I think he gave a particular medication incorrectly as it should not be used at the stage of the condition. Doc Kopp is great. You will wait a little for him but you will soon learn that he is well worth the wait. A caring, compassionate , complete Doctor.
