I had a health scare, losing the use of the left side of my body, trouble swallowing, lost my voice, and was rushed to the hospital in Charlottesville around 2010. The neurologist on call who “specialized “ in stroke victims performed some imaging, assessments, and came in to my room and advised my wife it was psychological manifestation and didn’t know why I was there, and discharged me.
