It's a 5-star apartment. We've lived here for more than a year, and this has been our best living experience in AZ. We were the first tenants to our unit, so everything was brand new and shiny. You could tell they were luxurious. Overall, I would recommend this place to everyone who has the right budget. Yes, you pay extra $235-$400 fee on top of your base rent, depending on if you have pets. We have two cats, so that's $110/mo pet rent. I have liked living in this apartment for the most part. Just last week, management informed us the free coffee area we have had open access to is now changed to a paid amenity. When we toured this place in July, we were told we'd get open access to free coffee at the shared espresso machine. Switching this mid-lease with very little notice to the residents feels wrong to those who signed when it was free. They switched it to 10 free a month then up to $3 per cup after that and gave us a one week notice of this change.
This a wonderful place to live, in addition and most obvious are your well trained courteous leasing staff who demonstrate values that you can trust. Kindness is my virtue and their leasing staff makes you feel welcomed without high pressure sales tactics. In addition Alexan Apartments Good neighbor policy establishes and sets an example of mutual respect, friendliness with kind polite neighbors that help each other. Toured this place today and we had unfortunately high expectations given the reviews. The amenities are sub-par and you get the typical pool access, business center etc. What drove us away immediately from this place was the very worn and dirty carpeted hallways. We were told they had valet trash and it is evident they do. The carpet in the hallways are nasty. There were bits of paper throughout each hallway as well. We were told they vacuum once a month.
