Alexa Hotel We checked in the hotel late and night and since the check in counter is closed you check in through the Astor next door. The staff here were really friendly and more than happy to point us in the right direction for food etc.
Comfortable stay & great location! I stayed at this hotel during Mardi Gras 04'. What I really liked about the place was the location. It is only 1 block from the French Quarter & Bourbon Street (actually is Bourbon Street, merely a block down and road is name changed). This hotel is also attached to the downtown Holiday Inn and the rooms were exceptionally clean. The only drawback is that the staff lacks major patience during the season.
