I’ve never had an experience like this with auto insurance. Very kind people on the phone, but their process makes 0 good sense. My vehicle was hit in a parking lot by a police officer, 3-4k of damage, and was told they will not help at all unless I file a claim, pay them a $500 deductible and possible penalties against my premiums.
