I agree with comments, whilst this is a very nice looking hotel with great art work and good bed, it might be just suffice for some. The continental breakfast was 28$ per person if not included in the room price, and that’s bread (a good one thought) with butter and jam, no cheese or cutlets, it included also cereals and chia yogurt - very good quality too. A great location for the entertainment and eateries in Northbridge, including the LGBT quarter. The room was compact and bijou - not even space for a wardrobe, just a couple of hooks with hangers on the wall. The bathroom was nicely finished, though small, and weirdly had the towel rail actually inside the shower cubicle which is rather odd, unless you like damp towels. Lovely hotel very close to the city. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very reasonable priced for the location on our next visit to the city Alex Hotel would be our first choice.

staff helpful. no tea or coffee making stuff in rooms, but access to those on the communal area on the 1st floor, so easy to pick up chilled water in the evening to take the your room
