One of the biggest pieces of garbage I have ever bought. How do you sell something that doesn't work for life emergency? 10 false alerts over 5 days. Paramedics called falsely and disrupted everyone in my parent's building. Multiple calls throughout multiple nights. From what I understand, this is one of the cheapest medical alert companies around and you get what you pay for. Now they won't try another company do to such a bad experience with this. My 93 yr old mother was having chest pains and needed medical attention. She pressed the button on her necklace and Alert 1 responded to her and got an ambulance to her right away. Very good company.

I paid for two devices for my cousins for a year and decided to cancel after the year contract was up. I am told by the company that they have to receive the devices back before the contract expires. That means that you truly do not get the benefit of the year you paid for. What a sham. Any other company would give you a window of time AFTER THE CONTRACT EXPIRES to return it. I do not recommend this company. There is nothing in the contract which states this travesty.
