We were referred to Alexander Bolotenko’s office by our financial institution to handle a line of credit transaction. We were told to expect a reasonable fee, but were blindsided with a price nearly three times higher — with little explanation or transparency. The justification? Absolutely the worst and most disingenuous law firm I've dealt with in 45 years of dealing with all forms of law firms and all forms of litigation. The inability to take direction from me on a simple Estate matter was incomparably unprofessional and incomprehensible. Initially, things seemed organized and efficient. What I was quoted for real estate transfers was NOT what I was billed. The fees were 50% more. Overall lack of communication and response from law firm. I had to follow up on the closing of the property numerous times as both myself and the bank never heard back from the office.
