Dr. Allen is pleasant, knowledgeable, kind, AND she is always interested in what I have to say and how I am feeling. She is not one to rush in and out. Perhaps, the most important thing to me is that she has a very good bedside manner.
Dr. Allen was amazing. Got a bill for 380.00 that has not been submitted by her billing dept to my insurance. Its been almost over a year and I have been contacting them to kindly submit it. I call the # but her mother answers and keeps telling me someone will call me back. I keep leaving. Beware!!!
my visit was very welcoming and pleasant, doctor was very attentive to my compliant and helpful to the cause- my whole transition was very smooth from receptionist, nurse assistant to doctor visit- lots of information i receive and left feeling much better than when i first came in that says a lot. will gladly refer her to others thanks Dr Allen
I've been seeing Dr. Allen for a few years. She has the greatest bed side manners of any doctor I've received care from. She doesn't rush with time spent with me, or with treatments, and she always explains things thoroughly.
I went to Dr. Allen with an ankle/foot problem, by the end of treatment I was told I would need orthotics. I hesitated because I didn't want to pay the high cost of $550.00. They assured me numerous times it was 100% covered by insurance-I went ahead and did it. I have now pd. $100.00 and keep getting billed for $450.00. The office staff has been rude and won't work with me and Dr. Allen won't call me back or respond to letters sent. And the orthotics don't even fit properly!
For some mystifying reason, Dr. Allen ordered a third party swab test during my husband's visit for a sore toenail. The toenail was cut out/no other treatment was required, but our insurance was billed over $25,000 for the swab test and we were personally billed over $275. Bizarrely, the swab test turned out to be a full drug panel (my husband is 100% clean) and our attempts to dispute these charges were unsuccessful. Would never recommend a doctor that exposes patients to such a racket.
Dr. Allen was amazing all around. The reason I am leaving this review is because on Nov 3, 2016 after seeing my x-rays she suggested I get orthotics made. I paid $250.00 that day and would pay another $250.00 whenever they were ready to be picked up 3 weeks later. It is now Jan 1 and I have heard nothing back from the office. I've called, left voicemail, nothing. At this point I feel like I've been completely ripped off. I really did trust Dr. Allen. HUGE let down.
Dr. Allen was very knowledgeable and attentive to the needs and concerns that I expressed. She was very kind, compassionate and assuring that my symptoms could be resolved. I would highly recommend Dr. Allen to take care of your foot care needs, she has and still is a great physician and is taking care of the problems that I have with my feet/Achilles tendons.
