Coming from a girl who was raised on Mexican food all her life in Southern California. I was extremely disappointed in the food served at Alebrije Mexican Restaurant. It was in no way authentic & I can only believe that people rave about this place because they know no better. Their ground beef is bland & runny & their cheese is an overly processed cheese food product. The meal was inedible & I left over half of it on my plate. Delicioso! This is Mexican home cooking!! Everything I've ever eaten here is good and reasonable with price. They have a couple different locations but I only have been to the one on 5th St.
Best Mexican Food The food here is great! It's all mexican cuisine, but you're bound to find something you like. The prices are great, you get so much food much food for a very cheap price. This is one of my favorite places to eat!
Alot of good food I was surprised with the meal i got at Alegrije on 5th street. I expected a little hole in the wall since I was told it was in a strip mall, but I was pleased to see it was rather full sized. The atmosphere was great, and the food was the biggest surprise.
