My wife and I have met family at the Ale House a couple of times now and we love this place. The food and the service has been great in our experience. The atmosphere there is the best. We got a table near the fireplace which overlooks a stream. It's a beautiful place. It's becoming a family tradition to meet there to exchange our Christmas presents. (Amesbury is half way between some family members). We recommend the Ale House.
What a huge disappointment. My wife and I are usually like going here but the service and food today was atrocious. The wait staff ignored us for fifteen minutes after being seated. My wife ordered a glass of wine, which came complete with lipstick stains on the glass. The butter came in frozen balls, they were short staffed and they messed up our orders. Sorry Ale House, you've lost our business.
Amazing food again....make sure you try their mac and cheese!
Always a great meal and great service! Greeted us when we came in and thanked us as we left. Feel right at home here!
Bartender was attentive...lamb shank was delicious and prices were reasonable
Great fries, great Mac n cheese, cool atmosphere. Relaxed and family friendly at 5 pm Sunday. No complaints about the service. (Surprised the waitress didn’t ask if we wanted another bar drink but that’s no skin off my nose.)
