I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Luce and his staff. The technicians, the administrative employees, etc. — everyone was helpful and responsive. Multiple times, staff went above and beyond despite having an increased patient volume. They spent time talking us through multiple options on the phone, and when circumstances changed, called back to make an adjusted treatment plan. DO NOT USE THIS VET PRACTICE One of my awful experiences with them was when my lab somehow contracted MRSA during her younger years. Went in because I had made an appointment and they said that they didn’t have an appointment for us for that day (DESPITE CALLING THE DAY BEFORE TO CONFIRM IT) They continuously DENIED that they canceled my appointment. About 4 years ago, someone dropped off a teeny black cat in a box. He had a large periorbital cellulitis and looked a mess. The person who found him didn’t take him to the vet and had told me he was ok. Off to you all we went at night with a very upset no named kitten. Aldie took him in, made him better, and even offered up a naming contest for, “Angry Kitty.” He is now called Ichabod or Icky for short and is absolutely stunning. Thank you for saving him
I bought my dogs in for a visit during this COVID environment. My one was due her annual checkup and shots while my other needed heartworm and tick borne testing. Despite them having the previous vet records and talking to the vet about how they only should be getting what they need. The vet even acknowledged that they had different needs and required different treatment. I have been a client of this practice for almost 13 years and they’ve taken care of my chocolate lab and my cat who have now crossed over to Rainbow bridge. This practice is filled with the most amazing angels that I have ever experience in taking care out babies. They are truly top-notch at taking care of our babies. Aldie Vet has taken are of my pooches for almost 20 years. They go above and beyond and always give me options for treatment. I love the care they give my pups during their lives and at the end. I recommend them highly!!!
They pre-charge for lab work. I was given a small container for well dog stool sample and charged 49.50. They claim it is standard in industry to upfront charge. I don’t like being charged ahead of a service. I will be taking my fur babies somewhere else.
