It is located in a gorgeous area and very friendly staff.
This weekend was the first of what I guarantee will be many stays at Alder Place! The owner was AMAZING. She was friendly and kind. She truly made you feel at home. The decor was so fun and unique. We even had a parking meter for a lamp in our room. The beds were so comfortable and the sheets were great. The rooms were perfectly clean. If you ever go to Babbit or even near Babbit MN. DO NOT STAY ANYWHERE, BUT HERE! This is the most charming and home feeling place I've ever stayed. A delightful surprise! Immaculately clean. The best possible updates to the original structure of the motel. This is one of the fun and funky motels I remember from my childhood - seems like they're becoming more and more rare. I'm glad this one is being so well cared for.
